Why the list looks like this
Three separate reasons are mixed together above. Some jurisdictions appear because the Financial Action Task Force has called for counter-measures against them. Some appear because of comprehensive sanctions programmes. Others appear simply because we do not hold the local authorisation needed to offer this service there — a licensing gap on our side, not a judgement about the country.
The list changes as the FATF publishes plenary outcomes and as our own licensing position develops. It is read live from our systems, so what you see here is what the platform actually enforces.
